How Should You Select Bracelets of Diamonds?

Bracelets are jewellery items that are worn around wrists. However, when worn around the ankles of the legs, they are termed as ankle bracelets or anklets; there are even boot versions of these to decorate boots as well. It is possible to manufacture them from metal, cloth, leather, plastic, ceramic, jewels, wood, crystals, shells, rocks, pearls and several other materials. They also help in medical and in other fields as allergy bracelets or identification tags for hospital patients, especially for new born babies, so that the babies are united with their respective mothers safely. There are several varieties available, but the following are the most common and popular ones used both by men and women:

Charm – These can be termed as jewellery that carries personal charms, with decorative trinkets or pendants that signify major happenings in the life of the person wearing them. However, the ones in this category are the Italian charm bracelets, since they feature several individual pieces that had been soldered flat on to the link’s surface of the bracelets.

Bangles – Bangles are a rigid type of bracelet made from metal, glass, plastic, ceramic or wood. Glass bangles are most common in India and they are worn in groups, so that gracious sound emanates when the wearer moves the arms. They can either be smooth or textured. The bangles, except those made from glass, can have stones or gems, especially diamonds, set in them. Further, young children in India also wear thin gold bangles both on their hands and on their ankles.

Slap – These were the flat metal strips covered with felt, curving around the wrist of the wearer and were a big fad at the end of 1980s and early 1990s. They were available with vivid graphics and neon colours, and could be found at cheap retailers.

Beaded – These are usually made from loose beads that have a centre hole, getting connected through an elastic band or a piece of string strewn through the holes.

Link – Link bracelets are made by linking or connecting similarly or different components or findings of jewellery. These can also be made from a wide range of materials including metals and gemstones.

Alternative Health Bracelets – These are popular for beneficial functions that their manufacturers claim, such as the ones that help balance karma, the magnetic ones and the power balance variants with holograms; along with the ionized versions. However, the actual benefits of these bracelets have not been proved or clearly established.

With such a huge choice in bracelets, it is quite easy to select the one that suits your taste, style, personality and budget.
